The Small Stone
Is any ripple of water greater than another? Even a small stone makes a swell in the water It is not I that should ponder its rings and route But thank God that the stone has been cast out. - CKSharpe

Where Is Momma Rabbit's Hat?
“I’m going to be late,” Skylar said. She pumped her rabbit feet faster until she reached the Atler Park gate.
Her friends would be waiting at the playground. Skylar enjoyed playing with them.
She spotted Pepper and Peppa first, sitting in the thick grass. They clapped their hands as they played paddy cake. Their brother, Jam, napped near them. Ajax sat beneath a tree. He blew on whistling grass. The noise didn’t wake his best friend.
The twins waved.
“Hi,” they said. “Let’s play.”
Skylar enjoyed the way Peppa and Pepper talked. They always spoke at the same time.

Out of breath, Skylar flopped beside them. “There is no time to play. Today, we need to solve a mystery! Momma’s spring hat is missing. She made it for the spring parade. Momma and I searched our burrow. We couldn't find it. It’s driving us carrots.”
“Missing! The Atler Park Spring Parade is tomorrow,” said Pepper and Peppa.
Skylar sighed. “I know. Will you help me find Momma’s hat?”
“Sure,” said the twins. Looking at their sleeping brother, they said, “Jam will, too.”
Their brother opened his sleepy eyes and yawned. “What did I miss?”
“Everything,” said his sisters.
